Understand the tea you make. Tell the story of your work with confidence.
A new guest walks in and asks: “What makes The Hoa special?”
The answer could begin with the aroma of roasted rice, a Vietnamese tea base or the way the machine on the counter brews the tea. But for the guest to truly remember, the things we tell them need to be there in the cup they receive.
This module helps you understand The Hoa from the inside: what the brand chooses to do, how each cup is cared for and how you play a part in that experience.
After 8 lessons, you will know how to introduce The Hoa in your own words, suggest drinks based on what the guest likes and notice the small things that make a good shift.
Teapresso: the tea brewing machine that sits right on the counter. The name brings to mind a coffee espresso machine, but what goes through this machine is tea leaves. It brews each cup fresh, following a set recipe for each tea base.
Scenting (kết hương): The Hoa's word for giving a tea base its own aroma signature, for example scenting with roasted rice, jasmine or lotus.
Trà Original and Trà Sữa Signature: the same tea base, drunk plain it is called Trà Original (the plain tea version, no milk), with milk added it is called Trà Sữa Signature.
