Guests remember the feeling of being cared for

A cheerful greeting is something we should always have. Care goes deeper than that: noticing that a guest is in a hurry, asking enough before recommending, explaining the drink so the guest knows what they are about to drink, giving a clear waiting time and updating them when an order runs late.

Some guests want to hear the story behind the tea. Some just need to pick a drink that suits their taste, quickly. A regular guest will be glad when you remember they usually take less sugar. Talking well is not talking a lot; it is knowing what the guest needs and helping them at the right moment.

In this module, you will learn how to care for guests through the whole journey: from the moment they step up to the counter, choose a drink, wait for it, receive the cup and come back next time.
